🏛️ State License Law 📍 Georgia

📖 What you need to know

In Georgia, real estate advertising must be truthful and must identify the brokerage, because a salesperson advertises under the supervision of their affiliated GA broker rather than independently. Advertising may not be false, misleading, or omit the brokerage's identity, and the broker is responsible for the conduct of affiliated licensees. Brokers must keep transaction and trust-account records that are accurate and available for inspection by GREC. Proper record-keeping supports trust-fund accountability and helps demonstrate compliance during an audit or investigation.
