🏛️ State License Law 📍 IndianaIndiana real estate licensing is governed by the Indiana Real Estate Commission (IREC), which operates under the state's Professional Licensing Agency (PLA). Indiana does not issue a separate "salesperson" license; the entry-level license is the Broker license, which requires completing 90 hours of approved pre-licensing education and passing the state exam. A newly licensed broker cannot work independently and must be associated with and supervised by a Managing Broker, who is responsible for overseeing the broker's real estate activities.
