🏛️ State License Law 📍 WashingtonWashington real estate licensing is regulated by the Washington Department of Licensing (DOL). To enter the profession you earn a broker license, which requires 90 hours of approved pre-license education: 60 hours of Real Estate Fundamentals plus 30 hours of Real Estate Practices, followed by passing the licensing exam. A newly licensed broker cannot work independently and must be affiliated with and supervised by a managing broker, who is responsible for overseeing the firm's brokers and its transactions.
